Perfect everyday lip balm and my go-to! I will say it is on the pricier side, but it's great that you can order directly from the Summer Fridays store. Goes on super smooth and feels quite comfortable. After a couple of hours the shine does go away but my lips feel hydrated afterwards. The color (purchased pink sugar - pictured below) is quite sheer but has enough of a pink tint to it. Usually I am sensitive to fragrances but the smell is quite mild and didn't mind it at all.

The formula for this lip balm is really great. It feels hydrating and thin, and my lips don't feel like they're suffocating in heat. This balm also offers a lovely natural shine, nothing full glam, just something subtle to make me feel pretty. What I don't like about it is how the color is advertised. I bought the shade "Pink Sugar" and the product photos made it look like a darker pink, so I went ahead and bought it because I wanted something natural but also something that added color to my lips. However, I applied it and the color was almost clear. It was a very sheer pink, which was not what was advertised. The color is LIGHTER than my natural lip, so that was really disappointing as it did not provide the darker tint I was wanting. I wouldn't have purchased this product if I had know the color would be so clear. Overall, great formula, but very poor color advertising.

Summer Fridays lip butter balm in Pink Sugar is my holy grail for lip hydration (well, tied with Kopari's lip love balm in soft vanilla). It's nonsticky yet doesn't budge, lasts for 2-4 hours before I want to reapply, and truly leaves lasting hydration and a noticeable difference in my lips, even after it's absorbed and faded away. It makes my lips look plump and smooth, sort of enhancing the natural dark pink tone of my lips with a subtle glossiness that's smooth and healthy looking rather than glassy. It has a lot of imitations that aren't as good, but the original is worth every penny.
