Wash face, then swipe textured first, then flip it over and repeat with the smooth side. Pat any excess into skin. Soon after, I felt a very mild tingling. Not unbearable at all, that’s normal due to the ingredients. Make sure you also use a sunscreen when using this product, which it clearly says in the directions and sunburn alert. Because of my experience with this product, I've tried quite a few other products by this company. I also got my DIL on some of these, and she loves them! This is a good product that it totally worth the money.
