This is my favourite sunscreen. I do not burn when used correctly but im still able to achieve a nice color but I find I cannot get with traditional sunscreen. The ingredients make me happy as well. However the bottle is not as advertised. On the website, it appears they’ve changed their packaging. It no says non-nano zinc oxide on the listing, but is advertised as such-not sure if this is still the case. It also appears there was a change to the formula too. The order of the ingredients seems to have changed. One star knocked off for not updating the product listing and because I’m not sure if it’s made with non-nano zinc anymore.

Great sunscreen! A little goes a long way. Works well but it is a bit sticky. I like the fact that their motto is don't put it on your skin if you wouldn't put it in your mouth. It is a wee pricy but worth it! I'll be buying it again.

This is my favorite sunblock I’ve ever used. Because I know it’s clean and I can actually understand and read what’s going on my body in the ingredients list. I’d love if the price was lower however I will never purchase another sun block.It applies easily and smooth and I like that it doesn’t make me all white. I’ve used other products that I feel turned me chalky white, and I can’t stand that this product does not do that. So if you’re looking for a clean safe sunblock for yourself and your children, I highly recommend. Also I feel like a little bit goes a long ways. I bought this last summer and still have some left. We go to the pool often as well as paddle board.

I’ve been really impressed with the Sky and Sol Natural Mineral Sunscreen. The texture is rich and creamy because of the tallow base, but it spreads surprisingly well once you warm it between your fingers. It feels nourishing on the skin—almost like a moisturizer and sunscreen in one.
I love that it uses non-nano zinc oxide and truly natural ingredients. No strong fragrance, no irritation, and it doesn’t make my skin break out. It does leave a very slight white cast at first (which is normal for mineral sunscreens), but it blends in after a minute and feels protective without being greasy.
I’ve been using it daily, especially on my face, and it holds up well under light makeup. Also great for sensitive skin or for anyone trying to switch to a cleaner, more natural SPF.

We’ve been using this sunscreen for about two months now and absolutely love it. The clean ingredients are a big plus for our family, and it works really well. One of my kids has red hair, very fair skin, and burns easily—but this sunscreen keeps him protected, even during long days at the beach or on the river.

I’m so happy to have found a super clean brand that actually works! Since getting pregnant, I burn more easily for some reason (especially my growing belly) so I needed a sunscreen. I live in south Florida and this one works amazing at the beach! Leaves no white cast when rubbed in all the way and doesn’t feel awful and greasy on my skin at all. I ordered the SPF 50 and I like the product. It smells natural, feels moisturizing and doesn’t leave a super strong white cast. I did not give it a five star because half of it is literally air…I just got this bottle and you can see in the image I uploaded, half of it is empty. If I am paying this much for sunblock, I would expect significantly more product.

This is the first product I’ve bought with tallow so I was expecting a product with an off-putting smell. Especially since I have a strong sense of smell. I was very pleasantly surprised that it had no smell at all. So I’m really perplexed by the reviews that talk about the strong smell. Makes me wonder if the product was expired? Or since they were busted, they soured? 🤷🏻 I bought straight from the Sky & Sol- not Amazon- so maybe that played a part?? I dunno.
I posted two pictures from the same beach trip. One is of my arms where I put the S&S sunscreen and the other picture is of my leg where I didn’t put anything. I grew up on Pensacola Beach, Florida and its white sand and very seldom burned (with no sunscreen). But since I only get to go visit there occasionally the last few years, I use sunscreen. However, I’ve burned worse than ever in my life since I started using sunscreens (although I’ve tried to use non-toxic ones). Not only that, sunscreens also give me hives. So I reluctantly bought this one to give it another go for my most recent trip. I chose to try it out on my arms and just rely on the shade for my legs. (Obviously, I won’t do that again!) However, I am sold on this product. We were sitting under the shade for 99% of 6 hrs, I only applied it once (even though I went into the water) and you can see that I didn’t burn one bit on my arms. I had no hives and no offensive smell or greasiness. It truly felt like I wasn’t wearing any sunscreen at all. Anyways. This was my experience with the product.
