I love that this sampler set came with nice pumps and caps, all great to have a whole skincare system with me for traveling or overnight stays in a pinch. I did find the bottles were very thick walled and thus hard to dispense when squeezing them - especially the facial cleanser. I often ended up squeezing too much out and just had to deal with it. Surprisingly, it was a cream based (almost lotion like) cleanser. It had a nice light scent and I very much enjoyed the face wash experience. I felt clean, yet not stripped (which often do not go hand in hand). The serum is really more like a lotion and the cream was thick as well. They weren't lying when they said it was for an aging solutions kit. I feel that each product really will help you make do while away from your full length skincare routine and you won't be left wishing you packed more stuff. The pump on the bottle tops are a bit lacking, but like I said, a nice touch. I found myself often pumping again because the first one came out empty or lacking the amount of product I needed.

I have recently become a fan of this brand because of their ultra calming items, though I have previously tried the super rich cream and it caused me breakouts so I didn't use the one in this set. The other 3 items in this set thankfully didn't cause me any issues and were actually pretty great! The dynamic skin recovery with the SPF 50 is amazing to use for daytime and it really helps my dry skin feel hydrated. The resurfacing cleanser is actually not too abrasive, but I don't use it daily to prevent extra dryness though it should work really well with oily/combo skin. The retinol serum is amazing too and has a light citrusy scent, feels really nice on my skin, and didn't cause irritation even as a retinol. Overall, this set of 4 minis from this brand is actually a really great starter set to try out a few of the brand's most popular skincare!

Getting a proper skin routine can be difficult. There’s a lot of different advice out there, and it can be overwhelming. For newbies, I absolutely love getting them an entire set from a single company. It simplifies the process.
Dermalogica is a trusted company, And I’ve always enjoyed their products. This set meets their high standards. The instructions are clear, and all four of the products work well. Of course, I’m using them together, so it’s tough to say if any are more effective than others.
I will say that having SPF in the AM moisturizer is key. You can’t think of SPF as only for the summer or the beach. You need to be wearing it daily, and it’s not something to skimp on. Lower quality sunscreens can have too many chemicals.
This is a great gift idea or just get it for yourself as part of your self care routine. Huge fan!

I'm already a Dermalogica fan, so I was excited to try this travel sized kit. One thing I will say is that the Retinol serum is no joke. I try many different products claiming to be Retinol, but this one for sure works. Lets just say don't use it more than two or three times a week, and be sure to use the moisturizer daily.

It comes with four small bottles - a cleanser, retinol product, 50 SPF moisturizer, and a cream. It's perfect for travel or for testing out the products before committing to the full-size. But, I'm not convinced these small sizes will be enough to gauge whether it's worth committing and buying a full-size. Having said that, Dermalogica is known for its quality skin products. I love Dermalogica skin care products! This is a small sized travel kit. I decided to use it just for that. I was on a vacation for 5 days and brought just this set for skincare. Being small size, they are TSA approved, and can travel anywhere. Comes with Cleanser, serum, moisturizer, and cream.
