This serum is on the thicker end with a milky while appearance and a bit of a greasy feel. It applies easily and feels a little greasy on my face until it absorbs, which only takes a few minutes. After that it doesn't feel greasy or sticky at all, which is excellent. The scent of it is like weeds in a garden to me, though, but it doesn't last too long so I don't mind it as much. I've been using it off and on for a little over two months now, and I've been pleasantly surprised at how well it works for brightening, without any vitamin c or niacinamide. It's on par with most products that contain 2-5% niacinamide, and most vitamin c serums for me. The only thing more effective in my experience was a 20% vitamin c serum. This brightens and clears up redness for me on my cheeks, but it's not as good as vitamin c in reducing the appearance of freckles, for me. The other thing I'm impressed with is how moisturizing it is. I've used it many times alone without feeling the need for moisturizer after, and that's something most serums don't do. I can see why this is such a popular product, it's a terrific serum.
