My bum bum cream was over and I was looking to replace it and thought if trying this elastic cream. I love the light fragrance and I personally love light fruity / floral fragrance more fruitier. It light and smells so good on my body. A little goes a long way too. I will keep this on my must have list now and sometimes fragrance are hit and miss. For me this light fragrance is sexy and now I am gonna try the Cheriosa 68 body and hair mist once my eos vanilla cashmere is done. Love open container too so you know you can use every last bit of this expensive jar no wastage. I also use a few dabs on pulse points and it literally had the lingering smell all day even after sleep next day a bit. Love this product. Must have for me now.

I love all Sol de Janeiro products and body creams, but this is my least favorite (4 stars). I love the scent, so much so it might be my favorite. Where I’m not as big of a fan of the consistency, it’s very sticky and hard to absorb. Plan on rubbing it in for longer than the other creams. It pairs nicely with Cloud pink perfume, they are almost identical! Very sweet candy/fruity scent. On a + note, you need much less product to apply than the other creams, so it should last you a while!

I've used this cream regularly (after nearly every shower) for over 2 years now. I originally wanted to try it in hopes of improving my skin elasticity after a bit of weight loss.
It ended up smelling absolutely amazing and it has now become my signature scent. It's not overwhelming like the other sol de Janeiro scents and it almost reminds me of candy or fruit. It prompted me to go out and buy all the '68 products to keep my scent layers on point. This includes the body wash, which also is advertised to improve elasticity.
As for the quality of the cream, I didn't see any noticeable improvements in my skin's elasticity. The cream is rich, not too oily and again- smells amazing, but I do feel like it sits on the skin rather than penetrating it. The cream does make your skin feel soft and it lasts all day.
I love that this product pairs with a body wash, deodorant, and body oil and spray, which I also use. I wish more companies did that with their products!
Another thing to note is that the cream doesn't like extreme temperatures. On a few occasions I've had Amazon packages left out in the extreme heat or cold for hours and the consistency of the cream has been a little off. So keep a lookout for your package in the summer and freezing months.
I give this product 4 stars because of the price and efficacy. If this product noticeably improved my skin's elasticity, it would absolutely be a 5 star product. It is a great moisturizer and smells amazing, but I can't justify the cost for the amount of product when it doesn't work as advertised. I have started purchasing other dermatologist recommended products that are more cost effective. I still love and use this cream, just not everyday.

I really love when Sol de Janeiro makes the collectible jumbo creams with vivid limited edition designs (and the little surfboard scoop). I always buy the ones with bird designs on them, and Beija Flor always has a hummingbird motif, which I love. The Biggie Biggie size is a fantastic value, especially if you get it during one of the frequent sales or with a coupon on Amazon.
Beija Flor is the same scent as Cheirosa 68, which is a dreamy, tropical, pink, fruity-floral and creamy vanilla with undertones of brisk ocean air that's crisp and mineral. It really makes me feel like I'm on a beach in a tropical location, lounging near tropical flowers and fruit trees, listening to the crashing of ocean waves. Some people say that this smells like Baccarat Rouge 540, but I really dislike BR540 and love Beija Flor, so I don't really get the comparison. They don't even share any of the same notes, except for jasmine.
The texture of this cream is thick, but it smooths over skin easily and is deeply moisturizing. It's not super oily or heavy, so I can get dressed a few minutes after applying, though the scent still transfers everywhere. I wish that Sol de Janeiro made body butters with half the concentration of fragrance. As much as I love Cheirosa 68, the fragrance gets really overwhelming when it's applied over your entire body, and it'll last 24 hours with noticeable sillage before I shower it off. The fragrance in the body creams is stronger than in the matching body mists. On days when my head is hurting, I can't use this at all because the scent gets so overpowering.
And that's a shame because I really love the formula of the body butter itself. It has cacay oil (a gentle retinol alternative) and plant collagen, which are great for maintaining elasticity and tone over time, along with lots of butters and oils that manage to not feel heavy or greasy. I just have to be in the mood for the strong fragrance to stay with me until I wash it off.

they promised it would be big, but i was sceptical … i’ve trusted size claims before and been gravely disappointed.
then the box arrived. i opened it, took one look, and gasped out loud. for once… they weren’t lying. not only is it nearly six inches, but it’s thick too.
i’ve been through their regular-sized creams in under two weeks before (i have the self-restraint of a feral raccoon), but this one might finally keep up with me.
and the smell. dear lord, the smell. cheirosa 68 is baccarat rouge 540 if it studied abroad in rio, started journaling, and got really into dragonfruit. it’s pink. it’s floral. it’s got ocean air and vanilla musk. and it makes me feel like a well-moisturised heiress with mysterious summer plans.
the texture is the sweet spot between “luxury spa” and “dessert frosting.” thick enough to feel expensive, light enough that i don’t slide off furniture. i use it before bed, and by morning i still smell faintly like i just got back from a yacht where i contribute nothing but vibes and glowing skin.

The largest jar is definitely a biggie! It is huge! There's a surfboard spatula to help get the lotion out, which is a nice touch given how deep the jar is.
This lotion is so creamy and absorbs completely into my skin. No residue or stickiness leftover, which is a huge peeve of mine. My skin feels soooo soft and luxurious!
My gripe here is that the scent is minimal, and what I can detect almost smells like a sour floral. I have been buying SDJ for many, many years now, and the scent of this is not on par with their other products at all.
The lotion does it's job (and excels) but usually SDJ has amazing scents as well, that create a tropical, spa like experience. This one doesn't do that for me at all.
I'm hoping the benefits of this lotion far outweigh the scent, and I'm sure it will, but I can't help but feel a little let down given SDJ usually has heavenly scents.

I love this brand’s scents but had never tried one of their famous body creams, so I was excited, especially since this was also a new scent for me.

This is a large jar (16.9 oz), and a little goes a long way, so it’ll last me quite a while. The texture is smooth and medium-light. The scent surprised me; I expected more tropical fruit from the lychee and dragonfruit notes, but it’s really a tropical floral with a hint of fruit and a sweet, musky finish. It can lean a bit juvenile and verge on cloying when the sweetness makes an appearance, but I still like it, even if it’s not my favorite from the brand.

I have been buying sol de janrio products for a long time now. This was the first time I tried the BEIJA FLOR cream I usually get the matching spray the Cherirosa 68 spray. I like the smell I just don’t think it’s strong enough in the cream. My favorite cream from them is the Bom Dia cream that smell is so intoxicating. I’m not stranger to this scent (‘68), so I knew I would love it!! Perfect spring / summertime scent, fruity and floral but not overpowering. Just smells delicious! For those who are unfamiliar with the scent, it has notes of Brazilian Jasmine, Pink Dragonfruit, Sheer Vanilla and Ocean Air!
The cream itself is so nice, fluffy and creamy (but lightweight) and goes in so smooth and soft. Leaves my skin feeling nice and hydrated. Doesn’t feel sticky at all nor does it leave any type of residue. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized throughout the day, no need to reapply (for me at least).
A little goes a long way, so the big jar will last me a LONG time! I love that it also comes with a travel sized jar so I can bring it with me on vacation!
They state it’s clinically proven to boost collagen, and has some amazing ingredients and benefits:

This Sol De Janeiro Beija Flor Elasti-Cream is a lovely lotion. It has a nice fruity, floral scent. It can take the place of perfume for me, but I don't find it too overpowering. The lotion is thick and takes a little work to rub in. It absorbs nicely and leaves my skin feeling smooth and moisturized. Love that this is a retinol alternative for my body.
At $70, this doesn't seem to be a better value than buying the 8.1 oz and 2.5 ounce sizes separately. But, it's convenient if you need a travel size.

This cream feels quite luxurious on my skin and absorbs quickly with no greasy feel. I’ve never used anything with cacay oil and I find it to be very moisturizing. My skin feels nice, soft, and supple. I find this will keep my skin feeling moisturized for a day or two and then I’ll reapply.
This set comes with two jars in two sizes like a mommy and mini me version. I like having the travel size for trips because I can also refill it when needed. The floral scent is unique and kinda sweet smelling with hints of vanilla. If you are sensitive to smell or prefer unscented, this might be a bit overpowering, but I find it to be pleasant. It’s almost like I have perfume on. The scent will linger for a day or two even after showering!

Ok, I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of reviews so let me help you. It smells good and goes on really nice. The smell is not overwhelming or in your face like the other scents. This one is good for all year. It's bright and warm for summer, it's sweet enough for winter, and its fresh for spring and fall. It's also a lot stronger when you pair it with the matching body mist and a perfume on top. I also hear that this one is not really a favorite by the majority of sol de janeiro consumers so you won't smell like the others. So, if you like something light, good for all year use, and in between floral, sweet, and fresh. this is the one to try out. highly recommend!
