3-in-1 Rose Cleansing Balm for Makeup Removal, Hydration & Skin Softening

This is my first time trying Elemis and I really love it! This cleansing balm smells amazing and is easy to use. I ordered this to use in place of my typical oil cleanser. I’ve never used a balm before and was pleasantly surprised at how easily it removes without leaving a film. A little goes a long way, so this jar will last quite a while. It just takes a tiny amount of this cleanser to cleanse my face. It spreads really easily once warmed up on the skin. It feels so luxurious on the skin. I massage it in with my hands and then add a little water at the end to emulsify the oil. Once it turns white, I remove it with a wet cloth. It very easily removes makeup and sunscreen leaving my skin clean, but not stripped. I have combination oily skin, and love that this doesn’t leave an oily residue. Using a cleansing oil (or in this case, balm) has been a complete game changer for my skin. I no longer get breakouts and my pores stay relatively clear. I would recommend this cleansing balm to anyone! It’s worth the splurge in my opinion!

Ive seen it on tiktok and it melts makeup off easily even mascara without needing to rub harshly. It turns into an oil like texture when you massage it in but then rinses off clean without leaving a greasy film. It is definitely pricey which is the only downside.

The best cleansing balm around. Beautiful smell and lovely to use. Perfect for my sensitive skin. Love it!

I’ve been using this cleansing balm for quite a long time now as my evening makeup remover, and it has become a staple in my routine. The texture starts as a rich balm and melts into an oil on the skin, effectively dissolving makeup, including more stubborn products. This is how I personally use it: I apply a small amount to different areas of the face and massage it in with circular motions. Then I dampen my fingertips with lukewarm water and go over the skin again, at this point the balm emulsifies into a light, milky foam. I continue massaging and then rinse off with lukewarm water. My skin always feels clean, soft and comfortable, never dry or tight. I remember that the first time I used it, the scent felt quite strong for my taste. However, I kept using it because it removed makeup so well and didn’t dry out my skin. Over time I’ve become used to the fragrance, and it no longer feels overpowering as it did initially. Overall, this is a very effective and gentle cleanser, ideal if you’re looking for something that removes makeup thoroughly while keeping the skin nourished and comfortable.

The product itself is 5 stars. Terrific cleansing balm with a lovely smell but I bought this as a Christmas present and this is how the package arrived. Boxed items simply can't survive delivery in a flimsy brown paper envelope!

Removes makeup wonderfully. Gently cleanses the skin. Sensitive skin approved. Smells like a delightful day in Spring. I will definitely continue to purchase as it is now apart of my daily routine when cleansing my face.

This cleansing balm smells incredible and works like magic! Everyone I’ve shared it with or lent it to at my house has immediately bought their own. I wear waterproof mascara daily, and this balm removes it effortlessly. I’ve already gone through two containers and just ordered another. A little goes a long way, and the small one-ounce size is perfect for travel. It feels like a spa day every time I use it, couldn’t recommend it more! (You know it’s a good review when the photo shows an empty well used container ❤️)

This cleansing balm is the bomb! And the price here? Just yes! Makes your skin so refreshed, soft and totally glassy. Do buy whilst it’s on sale! It will last a good while. Best of the best…and believe me, I’ve tried them all I’m 66

The 4 star is not for the product. I love it. Its for the packing. The product was thrown to a big box with amother item and this is how I received it. Also, this product always includes a cleasing cloth (when bought directly from Elemis at least) and it was missing.

The product is lovely however this was a gift for my goddaughter for Christmas but Amazons packing was really flimsy.

I've been using this product for several months now and was happy to see it on sale. This cleansing balm goes on like a balm and as you rub it changes to more of a cream. It takes off the last traces of makeup and leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. It is very calming to my skin, it hydrates and feels luxurious to use. The scent is not strong and I find it nice. It washes off with a little warm water and leaves your feeling moisturized. I have sensitive, normal to dry skin and think this product is perfect for that skin type. I recommend this product.

I love this product! It leaves my skin hydrated and soft like no other cleanser. My only issue is the price for the tiny size, but considering the quality, scent, and how it makes my skin feel, I will continue to buy it. The consistency is thick when you apply to dry skin, and begins to melt as you rub it in. Once full face is covered, you add water to hands and lather all over. It does not foam up like soap, but turns into a milky consistency, then you rinse and pat dry. Absolutely love it! Update: I broke down and decided to buy the bigger size (3.5 oz) and was on sale on Amazon. The bigger size although higher in price, costs less per oz than the small one I got (less than 1oz). Again, it was on sale when I got it so it was around $58. Worth every penny!

My skin is aging, I have tried everything. With combo skin, this is my am/pm go to for cleansing. It will last use a small amount, massage on dry skin, (I love the smell, it's like a spa.) Then rinse with warm water I use a soft face towel. My skin is balance and feels amazing. I'm 48, still dealing with occasional breakouts and fighting aging skin, best cleanser I've found to deal with both!

Love the product, even using small amount, can not justify 3/4 oz small jar. I thought it was a sample til I ordered. It is good.

This is my first time purchasing a balm cleanser. I typically use oil cleansers. I did not get it to remove makeup, I got it for my mature skin that tends to become dry quickly. This product is quite pricey in its full size so I ordered the sample size to try. I have to say I am quite impressed. It smells really good and feels lovely. Has a slight lather but nothing too harsh. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. I didn’t notice any breakouts and have been using for a week now. Also, the product is a bit dense so even though I bought the trial size I can probably get a month’s worth out of it. When I do order the full size, I’m going to order the one with rosewater. Had that come in a sample size I would’ve tried that first. I am new to this brand, but will be checking out some of the other products!

Absolutely LOVE this product. I have purchased 3x. It is a splurge. But worth it. One issue that totally bugs me is the pretty silver lid coming off. It leaves an ugly plastic lid with exposed glue. Super hard and slippery to use, and makes for an extra.step each time you use it. If I pay for pretty things, I want them to be pretty and functional too--pretty enough to leave on the counter, and easy to screw on and off.

Démaquillant très bien rien a dire, bonne texture mais l'odeur et peut fort pique le nez. Il me pique un peut le visage et me donne des petits rougeurs, je dois le rincer très vite et faire un double nettoyage, pourtant je n'est pas une peau sensible au contraire (Mixte a tendance grasse en tungstène) Un peut cher quand même.

Utilizzo da almeno 3 anni il burro sia per la doppia detersione, al mattino e alla sera, sia per struccarmi; e ho provato prodotti di diversi marchi. Questo burro di Elemis devo ammettere che è quasi perfetto perché la consistenza mi è piaciuta moltissimo, non diventa olio nei periodi più caldi ma non solidifica come marmo con le temperature più basse; strucca perfettamente e senza fatica anche il make-up più resistente ( ed utilizzo primer occhi e cupid’s di Nabla!!) e dopo averlo rimosso non appanna gli occhi; lascia la pelle morbida ma non unta prima di applicare il detergente. Unico problema PER Me: è la profumazione troppo forte che mi provoca fastidio agli occhi, non rossore, ma una sensazione tipo di bruciore; infatti lo utilizzo esclusivamente per eliminare il trucco più resistente e strutturato! Devo verificare se c’è una variante senza profumo in modo da dare, effettivamente, 5 stelle!!

I stand by these this product being the absolute BEST and truly transforming my skin. I have tried so many cleansing balms and this one is my absolute FAVORITE! This product cleans and hydrates your skin without making your face oily! I highly highly recommend! Smells great too!!

In love with this cleansing balm!! It leaves my acne prone sensitive skin well hydrated and moisturized. I use this balm as a part of my double cleansing routine and I do not regret this purchase. Easy to use and definitely buying again.

I am currently pregnant and have been looking into higher end pregnancy safe skincare. I have been breaking out more as of recent and have been noticing the double cleansing helping a lot of people! Many of Elemis products appear to have great reviews so I bit the bullet after seeing an influencer on instagram who is also pregnant using this balm! It has a very spa-like scent but not to overpowering! I was afraid that this would seem too greasy and difficult to wash off but it really isn't! It also came with a nice washcloth you are supposed to use to wash it off with! I only recently got this so hard to tell if its doing my skin any wonders but it does feel and smell nice! I also purchased the Elemis Sensitive Face wash and the Elemis Apricot Toner!

Excellent for moisturizing while chemically cleaning, this is great for evenings when you’re back home and want to deeply cleanse any buildups from the morning! I was hesitant when I got it bc of how small it looked but it has lasted me a while!

This gel face wash looks oily but strangely is not. It has a very very light herbal fragrance, almost no smell. Rinses off completely without oily residue yet leaves my face really soft. It dissolves eye makeup without irritating my super sensitive dry eyes, so I like the all-in-one nature of it. A small dollop goes a long way and melts all the makeup right off without drying. It’s great for a quick wash, a full face makeup cake up take off and I use it for my dry eyes when I wake up each morning. I let it sit during a bath and then tap off with the little washcloth that comes with it. It was a goofy buy for me, I’d never heard of this brand but watched a uTube with Hannah W. From Ted lasso using it. I snagged a jar from Amazon during a random late night impulse and now I’m hooked. Looooove this stuff. I bought the original which smells great, then the summer one which was a few less dollars but really doesn’t smell as nice as the original IMO and it came 1/2 full.

Ive been using the Elemis balm for over a decade now and this is my ride or die product I may try other cleansing balms but will always go back to this one. Leaves your skin smooth, moisturized, IT WILL MELT YOUR MAKEUP AWAY, LIKE EFFORTLESSLY!. Offers a spa like scent that just soothes my life you wont regret it I know is a bit expensive but it is worth every dollar, PERIOD.

This Balm really cleaned my pores and my face texture is nice and smooth. It is great for everyday double cleansing. The product itself is very tiny however, it is efficient and small amount is enough to remove whole eye makeup. I just ordered second pack.

Non ho mai provato questo balsamo struccante e quindi ho deciso di acquistare questa confezione da 20 grammi perché ne ho sentito parlare bene e visto il prezzo di 7,50€ l'ho preso. Il prodotto mi piace e peccato che adesso costa 12,50 € perché per 7,50€ è un ottimo prezzo ma 12,50€ decisamente il prezzo non è competitivo.

Mi piace moltissimo Lo sto usando per la doppia detersione e la pelle è davvero pulita. Profumo non invadente e scioglie perfettamente il trucco. La confezione è piccolina, 20 mg, ma comunque credo che nonostante l'uso tutte le sere, durerà un mese.

I'm super pleased with this! I dont tend to wear make up alot of the times but when I do i usually use any old oil and water to wash it off. I'll be honest it's the price of this item that attracted me and the positive reviews. The 20g size is perfect for me as it's one less huge bottle to carry around or store on a shelf for months on end. I have smooth skin but was shocked that after using this as my skin was even smoother. Infact it smoothed out the skin on my nose beautifully. It neutralised the level of sebum my skin was emitting. Sebum is good for you but I just had way too much around my nose. In the past I used charcoal strips etc for my nose but this does such a better job. I've added a photo to show you how much you get compared to standard 50ml pot. The 20gram pot is a very good size even if you use it everyday you'll get 1 month use from it. I also think its extraordinarily affordable for a "luxury"brand. So you can just buy as you need. I wet my face then use a little spatula to put the product onto my skin and rub that in really well. The scent I have picked up are rose geranium and lavender. It's Very pleasant and non irritating. I do find that using this in the day makes my skin quite shiny so it will be one I'll use only when needed or weekly which is why I am so happy they do this small pot. If you like the spatula I picked that up for free from keihls-they usually have them around. I use the spatula because i find if i wet my face first and use my finger then the oil inside turns a little white. So try not get it wet. But definitely buy this you wont regret it!

This is the best skin care product I have ever had. It makes you skin so soft that all the black spots come out easily. I left it for about 1h and then washed. Great for the skin with open pores like mine. And this is the effect only after 1 use. Will definitely buy it again, in larger quantity!

Best product for a skin so far... I have tried many products before for acne, open pores, blemishes and hyper-pigmentation. Trust me this is the best product for daily cleansing. I m gonna buy Elemis again. 100% sure.

Arrived today. It was a bigger pot then expected as wasn’t sure of the size of 20g. Smells lovely, like a spa. Feels warm and soft to touch. Absorbs quickly. Only arrived today so unsure if it’s made a difference but seems a lovely moisturiser so far! Will use as a night moisturiser

Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm. Waxy texture. I apply it for deeper cleansing. I use once a week for prophylaxis. On contact with water it forms a light foam. Suitable for problem skin (with rashes used for 3 days in a row in the evening, everything went away).

This product has been a game changer for my skin. I felt like it was looking so dull, and this did everything I wanted it to. I love the way it feels when I put it on too. I’ll use it in the morning. I put it directly on dry skin, let it sit for about 30 seconds, and then suds it up with water and wipe it off with a damp wash cloth. My skin looks better than ever thanks to this!

Don’t walk, but run to your phone and purchase this! This is my 4th container from them, it’s the best quality and quantity for your buck! Trust me when I say this will clean the crap out of your face! I use this in my double cleansing routine at night and it makes my face glow!

I have incredibly dry, sensitive skin, this product quickly became my go-to. I love wearing make-up so I triple cleanse my skin. Routine: 1.) kiehl's midnight recovery botanical cleansing oil, followed by Roc resurfacing cleansing pad, and then I finish off with this balm. I apply a generous amount and leave it on my skin while I brush my teeth. It leaves my skin so radiant. Some nights I slather it on and leave it as a moisturizing mask for about 20 minutes. I love this product, I cannot say enough good things about it. I’ve included a no filter no makeup video (me after my nighttime routine).
