Dossier Ambery Cherry Eau de Parfum

As someone who LOVES cherry scents, I was really excited to try this perfume, and it definitely didn't disappoint. When you first spray it, the amber note is pretty noticeable and takes center stage. At first, I wasn't quite sure what to expect because it smelled more warm and amber-y than fruity.However, once it dries down, that's when the magic happens. The cherry starts to come through and blends beautifully with the amber, creating a scent that feels sophisticated, elegant, and surprisingly well-balanced. It's a little sweet without being sugary and has a more grown-up feel compared to some other cherry fragrances I've tried.I've been reaching for this perfume a lot lately because it feels both classy and easy to wear. If you're a fan of cherry scents like I am, I think there's a really good chance you'll enjoy this one. The cherry and amber combination works so well together, and the dry down is honestly my favorite part.Overall, I'm very happy with this perfume and would definitely recommend it to fellow cherry lovers!

Wow! I bought this after reading all the great reviews and I’m so glad I did! It smells exactly like Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry (which on Tom Ford’s website goes for $255 a bottle and way out of my price range!). When I wear it, everyone sniffs me and says “what are you wearing?!”. I love it. It’s sweet but not cloying and dries soft. The cherry balances out with a little vanilla, cinnamon and a light floral smell which is so good!It has a magnetic cap which is great and I don’t know why every perfume company doesn’t do this!Ok, so now on to a little less gushing about it. It does not last long at all. I feel like I have to reapply often and I use a body oil after showering which typically helps with the staying power of the perfumes I wear but it still fades fairly quickly. I thought it might be me going “nose blind” but have asked my husband after 2 hours if he can smell it and he said I smell good but it’s very very light. This is not to deter you, this is just so you are aware. I really love it though!Looking forward to buying more Dossier perfumes if this is so good! Buy it!

I'm not sure what the designer fragrance smells like that this is supposed to compare to, but i absolutely ADORE the cherry scent! I will always repurchase!! Stack it with the Dossier Ambery Vanilla and YUM!

I bought this just based on the reviews. I took a chance without smelling first. I'm sooo glad I did. It smells amazing right away and gets even better after some time on. The scent lasts all day. My husband loves it too! Dossier makes the best dupes. I have several. Buy this! You won't be disappointed!!

I had just smelled the real version but did not want to pay 400 dollars for it and found this. It smells 99% just like it and I am so happy with it. My lady loves it and I will be buying more.

the scent is light and airy, that does not last.

This is the 3rd Lost Cherry dupe I've purchased and it is the closest one. Maison Alhambra was a waste of money and Finery was close but not quite there. This Dossier one is just like the real thing. I was in search of a good dupe as to not burn through the Tom Ford bottle and this preforms just as well. The main problem in the reviews being that it doesn't last long, but neither does the Tom Ford. This is one of those discovered not announced scents. For the price you can apply all the perfume you want. Very happy with this brand.

OMGracious this smells so darn good! I think it has a lovely scent and get compliments when I have it on (who doesn't love that??). I really like the magnetic cap.

I purchase this perfume through Amazon instead of directly through the company to avoid Dossier’s monthly subscription/membership fee.I also wait for it to go on sale, which is does from time to time on Amazon.

I am so happy I bought this Dossier Ambery Cherry, a dupe for that perfume that costs, literally, hundreds of dollars! The fragrance smells amazing on, and just 1 spritz is enough, in my opinion. The scent is delicious! Because of the amazing price, I feel like I am free to wear it daily, and that makes every day feel like a special occasion.The bottle is weighted just right, and the magnetic lid snaps into place with a satisfying ... snap, adding to the experience of wearing a luxe fragrance for a fraction of the cost.Ordering Ambery Cherry from Amazon was a great decision compared to the Dossier website because I only needed 1 Dossier item (Dossier sometimes offers discounts on orders of multiple items).

Smells amazing without being overpowering. Cozy and relaxing, and lasts for a long time. Great quality for the price! a sent that can definitely be used for AM or PM.

Bought this blindly and I actually really like it ! Dossier is the real deal when it comes to luxury scents that’s also clean brand.

I love this scent. The cherry isn't too much, it doesn't smell like candy, like other fragrances tend to over do fruit.

this scent is DELECTABLE! i do wish it lasted longer but i just carry it in my purse and reapply as needed. boozy cherry vibes. very seductive. feels like a good fall/winter scent, idk so much about spring/summer.

This perfume is decedent. The bottle is lovely and I adore the magnetic top. The smell when you first spray it on is lovely and aromatic. I’m a heavy sprayer, I cover every part of my upper body. I put this on at 11am, and at 8pm I received a compliment from my fiancé’s bonus mom about how great I smelled and that was having worn a coat and been to a social function. Then after we had went to bed, my fiancé and I were snuggling and he kept telling me how fantastic my neck smelled, and that was around 11pm. So 12 hours later it was still there. I couldn’t smell it on me, but others could. So the strength is there but not in an overpowering way, in a hanging on kind of way. It’s a lovely, sweet, tarty scent. So far almost each perfume from this brand is wonderful. A truly great value too.

We had previously purchased a Tom Ford Gift set that had Lost Cherry in it. Both of us liked the Lost Cherry (sample?) but just could not justify purchasing it with it's incredibly high price. My wife prefers it on me vs. her but it can work for both sexes for sure. I loved the initial Cherry scent followed by Almond and Vanilla. Dossier did quite a good job in duplicating but my only complaint is the longevity of the scent. It just does not last as long as I would like vs. the TF Lost Cherry (gift vial). Therefore, I (we) give it 4 stars.

I have purchased this for myself and as a gift. It smells divine! I have no experience with the scent this is based on, but I'm happy with this one. It has limited staying power, so be prepared to reapply. I have several of the Dossier fragrances, and this one is my favorite.

Spot on for a TF Lost Cherry dupe. The only difference is TF has more of a deep drunk cherry note vs Dossier cherry syrup note. When you first spray the cherry smells like a cough syrup or artificial but it quickly us replaced by its smoky vanilla amber scents. I'm glad I bought this over a $600 bottle of TF.Also this is more of a expensive date night out or occasional scent. I wouldn't wear this on the daily.

Update - My friend said it's a unique scent and she liked it and didn't find it overly feminine at all. Which you know must be honest because I told her I was going to gift it to her if she felt it wasn't great for a man. :-)I'm a man and I have a couple of Unisex parfums from Dossier and they work for me and so I decided to take a risk on this one and I think it's a little over the line for me. I'll check with a couple of friends but it has some pretty strong "high" notes that I associate with women. It is quite a potent parfum and I see the high reviews but I'm pretty sure I'll need to gift this to a friend. The other unisex parfums from Dossier I wear are Baccarat Rouge 540 (Ambery Saffron) that I layer with Le Labo Santo 33 (Woody Sandalwood) and that pairing works well for me but I would guess most men might not dare. :-)

I have my tried and true fragrances at home, but when one of my lifelong favorites stopped producing their fragrance oil, I was on the hunt to find something else.Price is a thing, I don’t spend big $$$ on fragrances. I had tried DedCool’s recently and loved these scent, but couldn’t do the price, especially since it didn’t last. It needed multiple reapplies per day, and wasn’t worth it in the end.I was hesitant to buy somethin online without smelling it first, but after screening reviews for a few days and going over the scent profiles, I landed on Ambery Cherry. I have not smelled Lost Cherry, to be clear, but Dossier’s fragrance smells delicious and I became a fan right away.The bottle is heavy in the hand and pleasing to look at, love the magnetic cap. Feels like luxury at an affordable price. The fragrance is super wearable; my husband wears it also and it melds great with his body chemistry.The biggest thing? It LASTS. The scent stays all day, I like reapplying once maybe just cause. But the staying power is great. I get the same 1.7oz of product as DedCool; but that 1.7oz has lasted me around 5mos, as opposed to the DedCool running out in around 2mos because it had no staying power.Nothing bad to say, really. Price, quality, packaging, it’s all there. I did sort of take a gamble buying it without smelling, but I have favorite fragrance profiles/bases that I can typically pick out as a favorite without smelling. I picked this one based on that, and it was a great fit.Reviewing cause I’m back for my third bottle now, so it’s probably worth leaving a review! I’ve also got the scent floral marshmallow and slice of heaven. Somehow the other two are both excellent, but I don’t reach for them as often since they have very distinct feels. Marshmallow is very sweet without also smelling cheap—like drugstory cotton candy perfume or something, it smells great with dry down, but just depends on mood.All of them I’ve tried so far smell amazing out of the bottle and dry down to soft, yummy scents that linger. Again, I tend to go for something more along the lines of ambery cherry. A little spicier, warm, sweet but not too much so.Anyway, I’m not a big perfume person, I just know that this smells really good. I have loved Jo Malone over the years and treasured a few bottles, but never wore them consistently because of price. I’d say the quality is up there, and it’d be cool to see Dossier do a Jo Malone dupe.

I am absolutely in love with this perfume. I first saw it in target, I fell in love with the scent. I get migraines from most perfume so I sprayed it on an article of clothing that I could remove if it started to bother me. It didn't. So I drove up to target again did the same thing and no migraine. So I searched Amazon, found it and purchased it. I have worn it every day and I couldn't be happier.

I was looking for a good dupe for Tom Ford’s Lost in Cherry and this one was perfect. It smells really sweet and actually has stronger cherry notes than its legit counterpart. I would say the Tom Ford’s perfume definitely last longer, however, this is worth the price and the buy. Stays on for a while. I’ve gotten many compliments

I was in the market for something with a prominent cherry note to it and the reviews I read ALWAYS compared the item being reviewed to Lost Cherry, as if it's the gold standard of cherry scents. So, naturally, I scurried off to look at that product. I took one look at the price and scurried right back. Long story short, I ended up buying a .27 oz travel size of Lost Cherry from a fragrance discounter just to see if I even liked it. I did, but I still didn't like the price.Then I ran across this Dossier Ambery Cherry, a reputable dupe inspired by Lost Cherry. The reviews were good and the price for this 1.7 ounce bottle was almost identical to the price I paid for the .27 ounce travel size of Lost Cherry. And, most importantly, I noted no discernable differences in the scent.I know a cherry scent isn’t for everyone, so if you don't like a cherry scent in general, you won't like this, either. But for people who like Lost Cherry, or the idea of it, but can't justify the cost, this is a great substitute.To those who suggest the scent disappears quickly, I'll add this: I've been told many times the key to a longer lasting fragrance is to apply it to well-hydrated skin. I normally put this on after showering and exfoliating, over the top of whatever vanilla-based body oil I'm in the mood for, and the scent lasts an amazingly long time.I'm not a fragrance expert, but I know what I like - and I like this. :)

It smells really good, but you'll need to use a lot of it for it to stand out. The top note of cherry quickly fades so that you smell more of the almond and vanilla. I would not consider this a dupe for the Tom Ford cherry. That is a scent that is unforgettable, that I may have to cave and purchase lol I do plan to use this as more of an at home or gym scent. It is not something I would wear on a night out.

Absolutely love this! It smells identical to the original Tom Ford scent. It lasts for quite awhile and I have recieved many compliments on this one. The packaging is great,love the magnetic cap and it is a generous size.

The smell is great! It does leave an oily trace on my neck, and the smell dissipates quickly. You can smell it faintly on my clothes at the end of the day, but it’s gone from my body.
